Effective August 28, 2025, all senior/key personnel listed in the Kuali Coeus (KC) Proposal Development Document must complete Research Security Training prior to submitting any federal or federal pass-through proposal into routing. This requirement aligns with federal mandates outlined in National Security Presidential Memorandum 33 and the CHIPS and Science Act of 2022, Section 10634, which call for enhanced research security measures across U.S. institutions.

Training completion data is tracked and linked to KC to confirm compliance at the time of proposal submission. We encourage all individuals who may be listed as senior/key personnel to complete the training as soon as possible.
